Camille Padilla Dalmau
Camille believes that Puerto Ricans deserve to decide what happens in their territory. She is a journalist, educator, and artist that founded 9 Millones so the nine million Puerto Ricans across the world receive the information necessary to advocate for a healthy, prosperous and joyous society. A graduate of the Columbia Journalism School, she has covered social justice, health and the environment for outlets such as Grist, Refinery29, NowThis, AJ+, Latino USA, El Diario NY, Latino Rebels, and Remezcla. Based in Puerto Rico's mountains, she finds solace in gardening, yoga, and cooking.

Laura M. Quintero
Laura believes in building collective power through information. She is an investigative journalist that writes stories about social justice and public policy. Before starting her role in 9 Millones, she worked in the investigative division of El Nuevo Día. Her work has also featured in the Center for Investigative Journalism, Todas, El Vocero and NotiCel; and she has collaborated with El País (Spain) and the TV program Rayos X in Telemundo Puerto Rico. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, and a Graduate Certificate on Community Development from Rutgers University. Laura loves to dive, enjoy nature, listen to live music and play with her dogs.

Frances Medina
Frances believes that storytelling is transformative. With more than 10 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations and advocacy groups as a Communications and Development consultant, Frances has a keen understanding of how to creatively maximize use of technology and digital platforms to connect people to issues they care about using storytelling as a tool. When she’s not strategizing, you can find her solving puzzles and taking walks on the beach or the busy streets of Santurce with an iced coffee in hand.

Luis D. Alfaro Pérez
Luis believes in enhancing the experience of a reader through purposeful writing. As the Editorial and Administrative Assistant, he’s involved in keeping everything polished: be it copy, ideal team meeting schedules or coming up with creative solutions. He’s also a writer for Platea and has published with La Isla Oeste, Pulso Estudiantil and Her Campus. Luis studied Creative Writing and Audiovisual Communications with a minor in Human Rights and Business Communications at the University of Puerto Rico. In his free time, he loves exploring nature, reading thrillers or enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

Nicole M. Hernández Rodríguez believes in creating impactful brands through visual narrative strategies. She is a graphic designer and founder of Buenaaas Creativo, an agency that helps entrepreneurs elevate their brands through strategy and design in any step of their journey. Her goal is to help businesses communicate effectively and connect with their audience, providing high-quality design solutions that translate the brand's unique message and values into compelling visuals. When she's not designing, you can find her trying new hobbies, exercising, or watching TV shows with her loved ones.

Evan Antonio Moreno Pérez
Evan believes that everyday brings new opportunities to become better than yesterday. He is a creative soul, independent documentary filmmaker and cinematographer from Juncos, Puerto Rico. Evan’s filmmaking explores Puerto Rico’s culture through industry and culture. His first short documentary was “La Caída de Coloso”, a piece that explored Puerto Rico’s sugar cane industry, followed by “Puntadas Invisibles”, which explored the sewing industry. He’s also worked on TV commercials, music videos and film production with Filmes Zapatero, Filmes Casa, Luciérnagas Morada, Ojo Kubero, Arteaga & Arteaga, Lumine, Lightbulb Studios, and many more. When he’s not working on films, you can find him watering his many plants or enjoying nature.

Diana Carolina Romero Palmer
Diana believes that popular education is the seed that gives life to a better tomorrow. As a journalist and social media coordinator for 9 Millones, she develops uplifting and informative content for the nine million Boricuas around the world. From her point of view, social media is a tool for informing and transforming communities. Diana completed her bachelor's degree in Hispanic Studies and a Spanish Education program at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus. She then studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. She recently completed a Master's Degree in Communications with a specialization in Journalism and Innovation at the Ferré-Rangel School of Communications at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
